Foreign Key (Constraint)

A unique identifier made up of one or more Attributes that links one Relation to another, establishing a Relationship and therefore enforcing Referential Integrity. The value of a Foreign Key can also be null and therefore does not link one Relation to another.

When implementing a Foreign Key it is referred to a Foreign Key Constraint.
